XP Rules

Overview

XP is separate from money. Paid missions pay cash; XP is for experience, tiers, and leaderboards.

XP shows up on weekly leaderboards. They reset every week so everyone has a chance to climb. Your lifetime XP is also tracked on the all-time leaderboard.

Contributor XP (Project Feedback)

First valid top-level review: +3 XP and +1 credit

Next valid top-level reviews: +1 XP and +0.25 credit, up to 3 participation rewards per day

Requirements: 120+ characters, not a reply, not your own project, and only 1 participation reward per project

Contributor XP (Feedback Missions)

Review accepted or auto-accepted: 10 XP

Marked High-impact: +5 XP (15 total)

Marked Helpful: +2 XP (12 total)

Builder XP (Project Momentum)

First approved project: +10 XP, once per account

Post a project update: +5 XP, max 1/project/day

Link the update to contributor feedback: +5 XP, max 1/project/day

Boosts improve project visibility, but boosts do not award Builder XP.

Contributor tiers and Net XP

Analyst eligibility uses Net XP, not gross XP alone.
